The Jacksonville Sprint Triathlon series returned to Fernandina Beach this summer, and as usual it made a splash -- and a cycle, and a run. There were summer-season sprint tris in June, July and August, each with a quarter-mile swim in the Atlantic at Main Beach, followed by a 10-mile bike ride down South Fletcher Avenue and back, and a 3-mile run up North Fletcher and back. |

Here are complete results from the first sprint tri on June 25, the second sprint tri on July 16, and the third sprint tri on Aug. 13. Congratulations to everyone who took part, and especially our intrepid Amelia Island Runners -- here are their results from each of the three sprints!
