High school squads from Yulee, West Nassau, Hilliard, Baker County and Columbia County high schools joined host Fernandina Beach to compete in the 2010 Greenway Invitational on Sept. 28. The runners inaugurated a new course designed by Roy Benson to maximize the opportunity for spectators to watch the athletes and cheer them on. |

Columbia County (Lake City) finished first in the boys' team standings, followed by FBHS, West Nassau and Yulee. For the girls it was Columbia County, FBHS and Hilliard. In the boys' individual results, the leaders were Seth Peterson of Columbia County in 17:33, Austin Nicklas of FBHS in 19:04, and Austin Cunningham of Columbia in 19:48. The top finishers among the girls were Abby Williams of Columbia in 22:59, and in an exciting finish, Michaelle Charlotin of Columbia in 23:15 and Katherine Dennis of Yulee in 23:16.. |
