2007 Katie Caples Cross-Country Meet

Members of the Fernandina Beach High School cross-country team competed in the annual Katie Caples meet Saturday, Sept. 15 at Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville. Schools from throughout North Florida were represented.

Congratulations to all of our Pirate runners. On the boys’ squad: Kevin McEntee, 20:58 (6:45 pace); Jack Tomasetti, 21:28 (6:54); Taylor White, 25:16 (8:08); Chris Castro, 25:32 (8:13); Chris Cavender, 26:19 (8:28); and Chase Hughes, 28:01 ( 9:01).

And the Pirates’ girls’ runners: Shelby Kittrell, 21:14 (6:50); Jessica Schwec, 26:51 ( 8:38); Amanda Woods, 27:32 ( 8:52), and Jennifer Bridwell, 28:19 ( 9:07).
