AIR traditionally has a good showing at the Independence Day festivities in St. Marys, GA., and this year was no exception.
AIR members took three of the four top overall spots in the annual 5K/10K presented by St. Marys Kiwanis. In the 5K, Jazz Tomassetti (21:09) and Nancy Harms (24:50) were first to cross the finish line on the city’s historic waterfront, while in the 10K, Steve O’Brien (47:40) won a “heated” duel for first. Leading the women’s 10K was Cathy Kloess (53:03).
Also taking home age group awards were AIR members Jerry Grubesky, Robin and Richard Hayter in the 10K, and Craig and Nancy Harms,and Marilyn Roberts in the 5K.
